Preventing ACL Injury: Female Athletes
Thursday, April 15, 2010
7:00 PM Lecture | 8:00 PM Didactic Training Session
Join us for a free seminar addressing the biomechanical and anatomical factors contributing to why female athletes are more
likely to sustain ACL injuries than males. It also explores TRIA PlayStrong, an ACL prevention program based on nationally-recognized
research, which includes neuromuscular training and core strengthening exercises designed to protect the knee from injury.
This program can provide schools and sports clubs the tools to be proactive about ACL injury prevention.
A didactic training session for athletic directors, coaches, and ATCs will follow the presentation.
