Hand Therapy
TRIA’s certified hand therapists treat hand injuries, including fractures, tendon
and nerve injuries to the fingers, wrist and forearm, as well as complex injuries
and disorders of the hand and upper extremity. Working closely with your doctor,
our hand therapists thoroughly assess your abilities and design an individualized
exercise program that leads to faster recovery and restoration of day-to-day function.
By using modalities
such as Fluidotherapy,
whirlpool, ultrasound and other therapeutic techniques, the therapists work with
you to develop effective strategies to manage pain and aid in recovery. Custom fabricated
splints may also enhance recovery by providing protection, reducing pain or correcting
deformity.
