TRIA offers a variety of opportunities for students interested in and committed to sports medicine and patient care careers.
The Sports Medicine Internship at TRIA Orthopaedic Center is a competitive program that allows for immersion in an orthopaedic
setting. You will observe all aspects of a sports medicine practice including clinical evaluation and diagnosis, imaging
techniques and therapies, surgical procedures, rehabilitation, and also will be included in continuing education experiences offered
to our medical students and orthopaedic fellows.
Four-week unpaid internship rotations are offered three times a year in January, June and July. Eligible applicants must be an
undergraduate college student in their sophomore, junior or senior year and have completed one course of anatomy or anatomy and
physiology.

Internship dates:
The dates of the June 2013 Internship are June 3 - June 28 and for July 2013 are July 1 - 31 (with the 4th off).

- Two Letters of Reference (One must be academic)
- Official college transcript
Interns will be selected following an interview process of the top applicants. If accepted, you will be required to participate in
orientation. As a part of orientation interns will either have to provide immunization documentation or have immunology testing for
rubella, rubeola, varicella, and hepatitis B. Interns will also need to complete two-step Mantoux testing for tuberculosis.
Application deadline for January Sports Medicine Internship applications March 11, 2013.
