Sports Medicine Internships
Four-week internship rotations are offered three times a year: January, June and July.
We offer a variety of opportunities for students interested in and committed to sports medicine and patient care careers. The Sports Medicine Internship at TRIA Orthopaedic Center is a competitive program that allows for immersion in orthopaedic setting. You will observe all aspects of a sports medicine practice including clinical evaluation and diagnosis, imaging techniques and therapies, surgical procedures, rehabilitation, and also be included in continuing education experiences offered to our medical students and orthopaedic fellows.

Four-week internship rotations are offered three times a year in January, June and July. Applicants must be at least a college sophomore to apply. The application process consists of an:
  • Application form,
  • Resume,
  • 2 letters of reference (1 must be academic), and
  • College transcript.
Interns will be selected following an interview process of the top applicants. If accepted, you will be required to participate in orientation. As part of orientation you will have immunology testing for rubella, rubeola, varicella, and hepatitis B.

For June and July 2010 internships, the application deadline is March 1, 2010. Interviews to follow starting March 15, 2010.
